The Library of Ženska infoteka was established in 1992, as a part of Women's Information and Documentation Center. It consists of 2600 books and 700 magazines, all concentrating on women and women's issues. In the beginning, we has few books, and most of our books were donated to Ženska infoteka by WISE and similar organizations, but also by individuals from Croatia and abroad. The book collection that is found within this library concentrates on a wide range of topics: feminism, philosophy, psychology, sociology, religion, anthropology and other sciences, literature, cultural history, history media, art, women's health, social welfare, violence against women and legal mechanisms for protection of women's human rights, etc. Titles are in Croatian, English, German, Italian, French, Russian and other languages.

All titles are computerized (Saperion program).

Reading room: ideal for students, for it has numerous women's magazines, manuals, dictionaries, etc. Books can be borrowed free-of charge (3 books maximum for a period of one month).

We currently have 411 members.
